Campbell was born on November 21, 2003, in Kalispell, Montana, and had just begun his senior year at Glacier High School. Campbell was born on a blizzardy day and could never get enough of the snow as he grew older. He lived for the extreme and was an accomplished Big Mountain freeride skier that enjoyed competing in IFSA freeride events. Campbell was almost more comfortable in the air than he was on the ground.
